If you didn't already know, my name is Jeremy Lukan and I have just completed a EE/CS combined degree at the U of S in April 2006. I am presently trying to find a job here in Saskatoon to apply my knowledge of microelectronics, programming, and communications that I have learned in school. Since there are many companies in the Saskatoon area that are around due to the University and the low cost of operating, Saskatoon is the place to be for people with my interests wishing to stay in Saskatchewan. I know most people are in a rush to get away from Saskatchewan, but I want to stick around here due to many factors. My fiancee Kelsi and I are planning to get married in August 2007 in Prince Albert, and the Saskatoon area is also a great place to start a family.
This website was put together to gain experience in setting up
a
personal website on a Linux server at home. Everything on
this
site is running off a computer that I have at home running Ubuntu and
Kubuntu
Linux. I also have Knoppix Linux running on my Xbox and I may
also attempt to accomplish setting up a server on that as well.
The second reason I have set up this website is to allow access to
pictures that I have, making it so that I don't have to waste time and
bandwidth
emailing them to everyone who wants to see them.
This is still an early attempt of creating a web page, but I
found a good template that I really like (more info under links). Send
